HABOC

Hamburg All Breed Obedience Club was started in the 1970s by Shirley Flood and other dog enthusiasts who wanted a place to train their dogs for competition and to promote responsible pet ownership. The club became licensed by the American Kennel Club and was able to hold AKC events in obedience and later, agility, rally and herding.

HABOC consists of members who have an avid interest in dog training, whether for competition or fun. Our members hold numerous events throughout the year, such as AKC obedience/rally, agility and herding trials, and other fun informational and fund-raising events.

HABOC offers a training facility with a wide range of AKC-approved equipment and experienced trainers in Pet Obedience, Competitive Obedience, Rally and Agility.

The club meets at the training facility on the second Thursday of the month from September through June. For membership or class information, please contact a Board member or class instructor.
