Hamburg All-Breed Obedience Club exists to promote the ethical training of dogs and their handlers, to encourage good fellowship among people sharing a common interest in dogs, to support opportunities for the public to become responsible dog owners, and to conduct obedience, agility and herding trials under the rules of the American Kennel Club.

The club consists of members who care about their dogs and wish to enhance their relationship with their canine companions through training classes, educational opportunities, and competition in dog sports and other activities; and who encourage and support others who share their love of dogs.
